This Privacy and Cookie Policy (“Policy”) describes how we manage personal data collected through our website and explains how we collect, share and use any information that, alone or in combination with other information, relates to your personal data when you use our website: https://www.neoceram.com.

We process such personal data in accordance with all laws and regulations in respect of data protection including the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th of April 2016 (also known as the General Data Protection Regulations, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) where applicable. All personal data is handled with care and will only be transferred to other Neoceram entities, to our analytic cookie providers, and to our third party subcontractors, such as the hosting provider.

This policy will be updated from time to time, for instance if we add new functionalities to our website that require use of personal data.

3. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
3.1 Contact forms

We use personal data that you provide to us directly through our website. When you contact us with questions or requests or when you engage our services, we will use personal data provided by you to answer your query. Via the contact forms of this website, we ask you for minimal personal data such as your name and professional email address.

3.2 Cookies

This Privacy and Cookie Policy does not apply to the use of such websites.

3.4 Social media

If you share the content from our website via social media, your personal data will be visible to the visitors of your personal pages on these social media websites. We are not responsible or liable for any processing of your personal data via such media.

4. Who we share your data with

As an international firm, data we collect can possibly be transferred internationally between Neoceram’s various entities. We can exchange your personal data with other companies within the Neoceram group. We exchange your data for administrative purposes and so that we can have a complete overview of your contacts and contracts with the Neoceram group.

5. How long we retain your data

Cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for different periods of time. Some cookies are ‘session cookies’, which means they only exist when your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser or quit the app. Other cookies are ‘persistent cookies’, meaning they survive after your browser or app is closed and can be used by websites or apps to recognise your computer when you re-open your browser or app later. For instance, Google Analytics cookies usually expires after 180 days.

6. What rights you have over the data

We aim to keep information about you as accurate as possible. You have the right to know if your personal data is being processed and, where that is the case, access to your personal data. Also under certain circumstances, you will have the right to rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw your consent. If you believe that your rights as a data subject have been infringed please know that you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Depending on the responsible entity this will be the Data Protection Authority for Belgium or the Italian Data Protection Authority.

7. How we protect your data

Neoceram secures your personal data through various technical and organisational measures, such as firewalls, spam detection services, secured servers, and data processing agreements with third parties hosting our website. For the processing of personal data between our group companies we have arranged for contractual safeguards.  This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.
